Split | Kornati | Vodice | Zadar | Pag: Novalja, Zrce | Mali Losinj | Susak | Krk | Opatija
Split: historic old town with many attractions, fashion and style, great restaurants and night life. Great shopping, amazing food, and most delicious fritule!
Vodice: old town, fishermen village, new stylish hotel, great seafood.
Zadar: impressive sunset, sea organs, great nice old town, nice little shopping streets in old town, good food, many different options of restaurants and interiors for eating all types of great food.
Pag: Novalja Slavonska pizza, the most amazing spicey pizza. Out of curiosity, few of us went to Zrce and too many young and crazy people, drugs, alcohol, and shit music. Returning to Princess Eleganza felt like a most peaceful escape.
Mali Losinj: nice, small, romantic, dreamy sleepy place, very clean, we had an elegant BBQ on the boat where we all dressed up and enjoyed candle light dinner on the top of the roof deck. Very clean waters to swim in, long hiking and walking trails in nature by the sea, wonderful private and public beaches, nice hotels, romantic villas charming/enchanting visitors’ eyes, opera singer singing from the balcony from one of the hotels on the beach/riva walk, dj playing hits from another balcony, and rock band playing old hits from yet another terrace, all entertaining the sleepy pedestrian crowds enjoying this magical dreamy place.
Susak: I’ve heard of Susak island when I was a teenager and have been amazed by its descriptions ever since. Spontaneously we decided to visit it because of its proximity to Mali Losinj which we just left. This island represents back to nature, untouched nature, it’s an open window to the island’s past. Here cars and roads don’t exist, just small paths and labyrinths through small Old village on the top of the hill, charming its visitors to explore every detail, and emerged in its beauty, you lose track of time exploring yet another unexpected turn with marriads of small details that tell a much bigger story. Beach is sandy, flat, and great for feet and the water to swim via beach is very clean and awakens the biggest kid in you who adores playing in sand and swimming and snorkeling in playful sandy sea floor! Water around Princess Eleganza where we anchored was so clean and beautiful turquoise clear color.
Krk is also a nice romantic old town with a charming soul.
Opatija: Pearl of Istria region, norther part of Dalmatian(?) coast with gives you the feeling of different time and where in everything and everywhere you see love for detail. Seems too perfect and reminds of Monaco.
As for the life on this 47m Princess Eleganza yacht, best thing is there’s no crowd and you can anchor whenever and wherever you want. You can watch crowds from the distance. Relax on board with nice people with your own privacy, space and luxury cabins. Having a private chef in board comes with great benefits, meaning breakfast and lunches we enjoyed on the boat, while dinners were reserved for exploring local foods and restaurants of the place where we harbored. Food on Princess Eleganza was tasty, special, always with twist of local cousine, 3 course meals, prepared with lots of love and skills and experience of what people love.
