Best Granola Ever

Hi everyone! Once you make granola you’ll be surprised how easy it is. This recipe in particular is so simple and delicious, it’s perfect if you want to curb your sweet tooth with something healthy. Together with cold raw milk or St. Benoît jersey milk, it’s particularly lovely. (Raw milk is great because it has all its enzymes and other nutrients intact however the flavor of Jersey milk simply cannot be beat.)  I like to add raisins before serving for additional texture and sweetness. Adding them at the end lets you have it exactly as sweet as you would like it each time.

Cinnamon Pecan Granola

Ingredients

  1. ¼ cup walnut oil
  2. ¼ cup honey
  3. 2 cups rolled oats
  4. 1 cup chopped pecans
  5. 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  6. ½ teaspoon sea salt
  7. raisins to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°.
  2. In a cup, whisk walnut oil with honey.
  3. In a bowl, combine oats, pecans, cinnamon and salt. Add whisked oil and honey; stir to coat.
  4. Spread mixture on a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, until the granola is crisp and lightly browned, stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool. Add raisins before serving.

Note: Granola will last a few days in a sealed container.

Granola od Cimeta i Pekan Orašćića

Nakon što napravite granolu, bit ćete iznenađeni kako je lako. Ovaj recept posebno je jednostavan i ukusan, i idealan je ako želite obuzdati sladokusca u sebi s nečim zdravim. Zajedno s hladnim sirovim mlijekom ili St. Benoît Jersey mlijekom, posebno je ukusno. (Sirovo mlijeko je super jer ima sve svoje enzime i druge hranjive tvari koje su netaknute, međutim okus Jersey mlijeka se jednostavno ne može porediti.). Volim dodati grožđice ili suhe brusnice prije posluživanja za dodatnu teksturu i slatkoću. Dodavanjem istih pri samom kraju omogućuje vam da bude slatko baš koliko vam se i sviđa.

 Granola od Cimeta i Pekan Orašćića

Sastojci

  1. ¼ šalice orahovog ulja (0,60 dL)
  2. ¼ šalice meda (0,60 dL)
  3. 2 šalice valjane zobi (4,73 dL)
  4. 1 šalica sjeckanih pekan orašćića (2,36 dL)
  5. 2 kašičice cimeta
  6. ½ kašičice morske soli
  7. grožđice za okus

Upute

  1. Zagrijte pećnicu na 150°C.
  2. U šalicu umutiti orahovo ulje s medom.
  3. U zdjelu, kombinirati zob, pekan orašćiće, cimet i sol. Dodajte umućeno ulje s medom; dobro promiješajte.
  4. Raširite smjesu po velikom plehu za pečenje. Pecite 30 minuta, dok granola ne postane lagano rumena i hrskava, miješajući svakih 10 minuta. Pustite da se ohladi. Dodajte grožđice ili suhe brusnice prije posluživanja.

Napomena: Granola će trajati nekoliko dana u zatvorenoj posudi.
