Banana Bread

Hello my dear ones! One of my favorite cakes that I learned of while living in the United Stated is banana bread. Every time I make it, it turns out perfectly. Here is the recipe and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. This is what you need:

Perfectly Moist Banana (Walnut) Bread

  1. 3 ripe bananas (brown ones are also ok), mash them into a purée
  2. 1 cup white sugar
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1/4 cup melted butter
  5. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  6. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  7. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  8. 1 teaspoon salt

Optional:

  1. 1/2 cup walnut pieces
  2. 1 tablespoon milk
  3. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  4. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract to taste

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 325℉ (165°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine bananas, sugar, egg, and butter together in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl mix together flour and baking soda. Stir it into banana mixture until batter is just mixed.
  4. Stir salt into batter.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
  7. Cool the bread in the pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then turn it out of the pan, wrap in a kitchen towel, and let cool completely on the wire rack. Wrap in plastic wrap.
  8. The banana bread is best if served the next day.

Kruh od banana (i oraha)

Ćao dragi moji! Jedan od mojih omiljenih kolača za koji sam prvi put čula u SAD-u je kruh od banana. Svaki put ispadne savršeno. Odlučila sam s vama podijeliti recept i nadam se da ćete uživati kao i ja. Evo šta vam je sve potrebno:

Prekrasno mekani kruh od banana (i oraha)

  1. 3 zrele banane (smeđe su takođe ok), izgniječiti ih u pire
  2. 1 šalica bijelog šećera (225 grama)
  3. 1 jaje
  4. 1/4 šalice rastopljenog maslaca (55 grama)
  5. 1 1/2 šalice brašna za sve namjene (170 grama)
  6. 1 žličica praška za pecivo
  7. 1 žličica sode bikarbone
  8. 1 žličica soli

Po slobodnom izboru:

  1. 1/2 šalice isjeckanih komadića oraha (60 grama)
  2. 1 žlica mlijeka
  3. 1 žličica cimeta
  4. 1/2 žličice vanilinog ekstrakta

Priprema:

  1. Zagrijte pećnicu na 325℉ (165°C). Nauljite tepsiju oblika vekne kruha.
  2. Pomiješajte banane, šećer, jaje i maslac zajedno u zdjelu.
  3. U drugu zdjelu pomiješajte zajedno brašno i sodu bikarbonu. Umiješajte to u smjesu s bananom, sve dok se tijesto ne bude ravnomjerno pomiješano.
  4. Dodajte sol u tijesto.
  5. Ulijte tijesto u pripremljenu tavu veličine vekne kruha.
  6. Pecite u zagrijanoj pećnici oko 1h, ili sve dok čačkalica umetnuta u centar kruha ne izađe čista.
  7. Stavite kruh u tepsiji na rešetku 5 minuta da se hladi, a zatim ga izvadite iz posude, zamotajte u kuhinjsku krpu, i samog stavite na rešetku da se potpuno ohladi. Zamotajte u plastičnu foliju.
  8. Banana kruh je najbolji ako se služi sljedeći dan.
